VR and 360° experiences for museums, cultural institutions, and exhibitions. Not proof-of-concept demos - real audience-tested experiences delivered for major venues including BLOX Copenhagen and the Malmö Wisdome.
Why work with me
01
Delivered for real audiences at real venues with real operational requirements - unattended headset experiences on busy exhibition floors, dome content for live events. Not a portfolio of prototypes.
02
Museum and exhibition visitors have different expectations than game players. The experience needs to be intuitive without a tutorial, short enough to hold attention, and meaningful enough to justify the headset.
03
Particular experience in architectural and spatial VR - experiencing a building that does not yet exist, or re-inhabiting a space that no longer does. This is where VR adds the most value in a cultural context.
A selection of relevant work from 10+ years of practice.
BLOX Copenhagen
Developed an interactive VR experience for BLOX, the Danish Architecture Center. Visitors explored architectural projects through headset experiences running on the exhibition floor. Designed for unattended operation with intuitive one-button interaction.
Malmö Wisdome
360° immersive content for the Malmö Wisdome dome screen in Sweden. Large-scale spatial content built to the technical specifications of the dome projection system for a live audience event.
VR (real-time rendered, headset) allows visitors to look freely and often interact - more engaging but more complex to produce and operate. 360° video is pre-rendered and non-interactive but can be shown in dome formats and requires less hardware. The right choice depends on your venue, budget, and desired visitor experience.
I design for unattended operation from the start - automatic attract loops, single-button interactions, timed auto-reset, and robust error handling. The experience should require no staff involvement to operate correctly throughout the day.
Yes - this is one of the most compelling uses of architectural VR. Visitors can experience a proposed building at full scale before a brick is laid. The 3D model is built from architectural drawings and rendered in real time.
Tell me about the venue, the content, and the audience. I will propose an approach that fits the real operational context.
